My obsession with essential oils is not a secret. I’m always rubbing some on my kids feet or diffusing the house with different aromas. I love the fresh smell. Even better, I love that they have helped our family with different ailments.
Lemongrass was an oil I didn’t really think much about as I just chalked it up as an ingredient in homemade bug repellent.
What I didn’t know is that lemongrass is also great for sore, tired muscle. Diluted down in some oil, lemongrass is great at relieving aches and pains.
Lemongrass used topically mixed with peppermint has been used to help treat thyroid disorders. I haven’t tried it myself yet but I would recommend making sure you dilute your oils before applying and watch to see how you feel. We are all so different when it comes to our body’s needs.
